Immoral politics have sovereign power (20-07-08)

The preponderance of market economy in the realm of India has converted the whole of parliamentary system into a true market. There is no doubt that a new phenomenon has emerged in the political system of India and also among the political parities. It is shamelessness! In these 60 years of Indian parliamentary democracy there had been several incidents when governments were on the verge of collapse. But never the notion of horse-trading, like that of the present time, was visible. There were certainly some dealings and calculations that saved the governments from the eventual crash but all happened behind the curtain.
